The Old Rectory is very conveniently located and within easy walking distance of several main line and underground railway stations.  Martin Lane is just off Cannon Street.  For directions please see below.

Parking space is difficult to find, but there is a National Car Park at Bell Wharf Lane, off Upper Thames Street

Directions:

From Cannon Street station (Main Line and Underground - District and Circle Lines)

Only a few minutes walk - turn right out of the station and walk along Cannon Street towards London Bridge.  Martin Lane is the third road on your right.  The Old Rectory is unmissable - it has a tall bell tower and clock overhanging Martin Lane.

From Monument Underground station (District and Circle Lines)

Only a few minutes walk - take the Cannon Street/St. Pauls exit.  Martin Lane is the first road on your left.  The Old Rectory is unmissable - it has a tall bell tower and a clock overhanging Martin Lane.

From London Bridge Station (Main Line and Underground - Jubilee and Northern Lines)

There are frequent over ground trains direct to Cannon Street from London Bridge.  Alternatively we are 10 minutes away on foot.  Walk across London Bridge and at the junction with Cannon Street turn left.  Martin Lane is the first road on your left.  The Old Rectory is unmissable - it has a tall bell tower and a clock overhanging Martin Lane.

From Bank Underground Station (Central, Northern, Waterloo & City Lines and DLR)

A 5 minute walk - take exit 6 signed Lombard Street/King William Street.  Walk down King William Street towards the junction with Cannon Street.  At that junction turn right.  Martin Lane is the first road on your left.  The Old Rectory is unmissable - it has a tall bell tower and a clock overhanging Martin Lane.  Alternatively at Bank Station you can follow the signs to the District & Circle Line which will take you to Monument Station by way of an underground walkway.  This will take longer than the above ground route and involves negotiating several flights of stairs, but it can be convenient when it is blowing a gale.

From Liverpool Street Station (Main Line and Underground - Central, Circle and Metropolitan Lines)

A 15 minute walk - Take the Bishopsgate exit and walk down Bishopsgate and Gracechurch Street until you reach the junction with Cannon Street.  Turn right into Cannon Street.  Martin Lane is the first road on your left.  The Old Rectory is unmissable - it has a tall bell tower and a clock overhanging Martin Lane.

Buses:

From the west: Route 15 from Paddington via Piccadilly Circus/Trafalgar Square to Cannon Street Station.  Please then follow the directions above from Cannon Street Station.

From the north:  Route 17 from Archway via Kings Cross to Cannon Street Station.  Please then follow the directions above from Cannon Street Station.

From the east:  Route 15 from Blackwall via Limehouse/Aldgate to Cannon Street.  Please then follow the directions above from Cannon Street Station.

From the south:  Route 133 from Brixton via Kennington and Monument to Liverpool Street.  Alight at Monument.  Please then follow the directions above from Monument Station.
